Protester Named ‘Jihad’ Busted at Berkeley After Violent Leftists Attack TPUSA Supporters: ‘F**k Your Dead Homie!’
One of the instigators of that violence, who was arrested and charged with robbery and battery, was named Jihad Dphrepaulezz. He allegedly snatched a chain necklace from an attendee, which caused a vicious brawl to break out and left the victim covered in blood. The victim was also arrested but later released.
Violence predictably erupted at the final stop of TPUSA’s tour, the University of California-Berkeley, after Charlie Kirk’s assassination in September. Hundreds of leftists showed up and attacked conservatives and police officers. One reporter stated that there was “blood spattered” on the pavement.
A protester named “Jihad”
One of the instigators of that violence, who was arrested and charged with robbery and battery, was named Jihad Dphrepaulezz. He allegedly snatched a chain necklace from an attendee, which caused a vicious brawl to break out and left the victim covered in blood. The victim was also arrested but later released.
Dphrepaulezz grabbed the attendee’s necklace and yanked it off him. The attendee fought back, and an altercation ensued. The victim was wearing a red “FREEDOM” t-shirt and could be seen covered in blood after the fight.

“After speaking with the involved parties and corroborating information through open-source media footage, officers determined that one of the men—Jihad Dphrepaulezz (a 25-year-old Oakland man) had stolen the other man’s chain from around his neck,” police said. “The other man was attempting to get his chain back from Dphrepaulezz.”
The clash happened outside Zellerbach Hall, where the event took place, according to Blaze Media. Comedian Rob Schneider and Christian apologist Frank Turek headlined the event. The 1,900-seat venue was sold out.
KTVU’s Crystal Bailey reported that there was “blood splattered on the ground” as the result of an “altercation.”

Conservative-hating, Hamas-loving leftists celebrate Kirk’s death
Video shows keffiyeh-clad protesters and students chanting, “F**k your dead homie,” referring to Kirk, who was publicly assassinated exactly two months ago.
They brandished signs declaring, “This machine fights fascism,” “No safe space for fascists,” “Karma’s a b***h,” and “The lion doesn’t concern himself with the opinions of trash.” Other signs stated, “Kirk said death penalties should be public, quick, and televised … Congrats, Bud!” and “TP belongs in the toilet.”
The Post Millennial reported, “A person was heard chanting, ‘any time, any place, punch a fascist in the face.’ A car exhaust backfiring outside the venue while performing a burnout raised fears in the crowd of gunshots being fired.”
And what violent leftist gathering would be complete without communist references? A large red sign with two hammer and sickle symbols was seen with the words “Drown Fascism in a Sea of Resistance.” Underneath those words was an apparent reference to a group called the Revolutionary Student Organization – you know… communists. With a portrait of Mao Zedong on the “about” page of its website, the RSU participates in several forms of “direct action.” Preferably violent revolutionary stuff.
As the event ended, the exits of the building were crowded with agitators who yelled “F*ck you, fascists!” at attendees leaving.
Protesters viciously accosted California Highway Patrol officers and set off smoke bombs as well.
The event was sold out and a massive success despite Antifa goons
“Despite Antifa thugs blocking our campus tour stop with tear gas, fireworks, and glass bottles, we had a PACKED HOUSE in the heart of deep-blue UC Berkeley,” TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet said, according to the New York Post.
At least four students were arrested over the altercations at the event.
From Fox News:
Four students at the university were arrested early Monday morning, according to The Daily Californian, which omitted the suspects’ names from its report. They were described as females between the ages of 20 and 22. Each was reportedly charged with felony vandalism.
Santa Rita County Jail records show four women who fit that description were arrested on Monday. Fox News Digital is awaiting confirmation of their identities from authorities, but UC Berkeley Assistant Vice Chancellor of Public Affairs Dan Mogulof confirmed the arrests.
Mogulof told Fox News Digital that they were arrested early Monday morning.
According to the report, they were arrested while attempting to hang a “five-foot-tall cardboard bug” from Sather Gate, which is a historical landmark on UC Berkeley’s campus, in protest of the event.
In California, causing more than $400 in property damage constitutes felony vandalism.
Two other men were arrested, according to the UC Berkeley Police Department.
Christopher Joseph Benton, 48, who has no connection with the school, was arrested for trespassing, resisting or obstructing an officer, and being unlawfully present on campus, all misdemeanors.
Jay Eduardo Maytorena, 22, is listed as a current or former student. He was arrested for trespassing and resisting or obstructing an officer.
Mogulof also noted that a 45-year-old man was hit in the head with a glass bottle or jar. He suffered a laceration to the head and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigations are incoming
USA Today reports that the Department of Justice will launch civil rights and terrorism investigations into the protests that took place at the TPUSA event on the University of California, Berkeley campus.
U.S. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon for the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division shared clips of the protest on social media and said an investigation was on the way. Attorney General Pam Bondi followed with her own post, announcing the incident is under “full investigation by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force.” Both pointed blame at Antifa.
“The @CivilRights will investigate what happened here, and I see several issues of serious concern regarding campus and local security and Antifa’s ability to operate with impunity in CA,” Dhillon posted on X.
